This week there was a significant firestorm when a Spanish news service called EFE reported that Goldwater wanted to utilize "concentration camps" placed on the border for captured illegals to build a wall, clean up the desert, and otherwise do our bidding.
Everyone flipped out, even AZ Republicans. Sen. John McCain, Rep. Jeff Flake, and Rep. Jim Kolbe all condemned the reported plan. It is clear now that Goldwater never used the term, "concentration camp" and the news service apologizedbut McCain, Flake, and Kolbe refuse to. You see the difference is, instead of concentration camps, Goldwater just wants tent cities put up along the border that captured migrants will have to live in while they are doing forced labor. Big difference right? Well Donny can't squirm out of this one because he was caught on tape ...
